Can you guys do me a favor? For those of you who have an account with reverbnation, you've probably heard of this promotion (or are in it). They chose 1000 artists to give away one of their tracks for free to anyone who wants to download. The idea is, you can only download the track there for free, nowhere else. The whole thing has been made possible by Microsoft.
The basic idea of the promotion of course is to get some exposure for myself and other artists. There's some cash involved, but for me at least, not much. Barely enough to cover the mastering of the song.
The favor: Could you check out the link for the track and download it? In particular, can you download and then tell me if there was any hassle in the whole process? I didn't realize they would use myspace for the promotion and am not sure what else is in store. Before I send the link to all my friends, I'm hoping to test it out to make sure everything is free and easy for the downloader. (They supposedly have a strict policy about downloading your own music, especially multiple times, so please only download once; and which is why I'm not trying to download myself)
That's about it. I'd also appreciate any comments on the track itself; it's a done deal, but would still like to hear if ya love it, hate it, or 'meh'.
I haven't browsed the other artists yet, but I'm sure there's some decent music in there. So at the very least, you'll find something interesting.
