Effects on the master track/making the track go ^&*^GBHJK and back again
#1
Question is..

What are some ways I can completely turn my track to shit for a bar and then smack it right back reality.

so like track is grooving along...

How would effects on the master bus come into play in this situation when rendering for a stem master?

Always a bit of a tricky one there. It's more convenient to have them on the master but you've got more control if you just bounce the master and work on that. But of course then stems would be out of the question.

Another way would be to master it then go back and add the effects using just very light limiting on the final result.
