I got the Orbit one, only one the shop I was in had. I actually went in to get a mouse mat but those were the same price as the trackball. I've never used one in the studio either but someone had mentioned I try it earlier in the week. So figured I'd try it out. Working nicely so far, and turns out there is a scroll feature when you engage both buttons.

Time will tell to see how my wrist gets along with it. But I like the fact I can speed around the screen easier now. I almost bought one of those Wacom Bamboo tablets for navigation (and also a bit of drawing now and then).

and overall this feature still will be improoved as far as i know as users post a lot/often requests in this material

ps.TRackball you say you spoiled bastard Tongue I will work my ass off in order to buy new laptop/macbook in summertime and people spend money on fancy trackballs Tongue

Well my mouse was becoming unresponsive fairly often so had to do something. The trackball I got was only 15 pound so not that fancy. But it turns out to be really nice and got great reviews on Amazon so luckily didn't end up buying something crap. I did my computer upgrades a year ago, had to buy both laptop and desktop within a month of each other.

yeah, sorry that it migh look like i am pimpin some product, but as i said ,thats in every one of us business to popularize equally good stuff for no price,as it makes market much more competitive and i guess soon big DAWs producers will have to respect reaper a lot

Reaper will probably be like the fruity loops of DAW, good powerful cheaper alternative but I'm not sure if it will be fully accepted unless he makes the GUI tighter. I also think there is a value perception of something cheaper not being as good regardless of it being true or not. Be interesting to see where he can take it though.

You are right with this statement.Comparing Reaper price to some other DAWs immediatelly suggest that it must be pure crap,it was also my first impression with this soft, later i changed my mind. And yeah ,obviously reaper still needs improovements, but they do it quite often
