For the record, the AU versions haven't failed on me yet. Sure they'll sort any issues out soon.

I had that whole issue with the preset in PT about two years ago I cant remember if i fixed it or it was a bug that they fixed in an update.
I think it was something I had to do, with locating the preset folders and setting the path. is it working with cubase 4 ?

Just tested it in Cubase 4 and the plugs aren't even showing up. In live the presets are nested in a folder below the device in the inspector.

Took your advice Jes, contacted tony, and he responded pretty quick.
Apparently, if you are a current owner of any of the V3 plug ins you get the VST upgrade for free.

I'll have to check the manual again but I remember it saying something about that. I don't have C4 so can't test there. These plugs are so good I don't really mind though, a bit of extra work is well worth it. Can't wait to try them out on some mixdowns this week.

Ya sound toys were the first plug ins i ever purchased, along with the prosoniq orange vocoder (beautiful plug in), and I always go back to those plug ins for a lot work.
have fun this week, I know youve had your eye on them for a couple of years now

Used them last nite on a session, did some cool stuff for sure. Can tell these will take a while to get used to and the most out of, there's so many options, especially when in the middle of working. For sound design I can tell they will be tops though.

Very cool, ya I found them to be really versatile with a lot of sweet spots. It's amazing how far software has come.

Ya i occasionally have the problem of having too many options on them to adjust and just spend a lot of time messing with the parameters.
Then when you hit the tweek button it gives even more parameters to mess with
