Cool man many thanks, will take some time to listen to these a bit later. Does it let you overdrive it very far? That was about the only thing the Scope Interpole didn't do quite as nicely as my Mutator filter, although still sounded good but not as 'creamy' sounding.
If you could take a raw saw tooth and apply high resonance and then one with drive as well. I'd be really interested to hear how this thing sounds when pushed hard, as that's generally where the analog originals come out on top.
thanks again for posting these tho.

Unfortunately my demo expired today..which is a shame because I didn't even really get a chance to use it.
It did have quite a bit room for over drive. Although I didn't really get a chance to tweak out some really good distortion sounds.
I'm sure I will end up buying it in the next couple months sometime.

Ah shame then, well at least we've got these ones. I'll take a look and see if I can dig out my comparisons of the Interpole and Mutator. I've also got comparisons of the Arturia Jupiter 8 against an MKS80 and the Scope Prophet 5 that are interesting.

So did you get a chance to check the samples?

Had a quick look on the PlanetZ forum where I posted the results and didn't find it. This was 2003 so the files could be anywhere on an old drive at this point.
What we can do though is if you do end up buying it we can set up some files and use similar settings to compare the plugins at least.

I've always found audio software companies easy to deal with and here is a good example. I emailed UAD and said I didn't really get a chance to try the Moog Filter before my demo expired and they reset it for me.

Ya they have generally been pretty good with that, I've done it in the past as well.
Try a sawtooth synth pattern, one with no filter on it within the synth itself. Then as I think I mentioned try some resonance and overdriving to see how much you can push it.

Cool Ill make some comparisons with the Soundtoys and Scope Interpole (if they transfer my license over, if not will just use the filter input on the Minimax).
Is your demo still active?
