Ableton Live 8 beta available

I've been looking into getting a copy of Live for awhile now,
just cant make up my mind if i should shell out for the Full version
i've been wanting to do a new mix comp for promo purpose. would probably prefer to go down the re-edit route just to personalised it a little more.. im aware that Live is more then capable for this and that there are probably 3-4 features that will be stripped away in the Lite version.. so any experience or advice would be good..
