Actually now I think of it if you could do one flat as well but with the Pultec on, as it adds a 1.5db of gain just being on (their way to emulate the 'magic' of just running your audio through it) so I can compare.
On a side note it's funny how the whole aura of the Pultec has effected people's judgment. I just read a review of the URS one on audiomidi and they say it makes the audio warmer and fatter just by running through it. I never heard this myself and even tested to make sure. If you take a file and invert the phase and run the URS Fulltect on one of the channels they still cancel completely...
