I was just wondering how you go about finding out how many times your track has been bought?
Is it down to the label? or could you get in touch with the sites? [beatport, juno, djdownload, etc.] to find out the volume of sales your track[s] has aquired.
I have previously only ever recieved cheques in the post but never was sent any info on the sales volume track by track.
Anyone got some info on this?
Gav.

If you own a label you have access to all the stats. If you are on a reputable label, they will usually send you an invoice quarterly, bi-annually, or whatever their billing cycle is.
If you are not on a reputable label then you're screwed.

If you ask the label should give them to you, that is unless they find a convenient excuse like 'my dog ate the download stats' etc.. ;-)

...or the story where the co-owner of the label is going through a divorce and things are really stressful on the poor guy, so he hasn't been able to look after the figures.

Just a few. I'm sure Jesse has plenty more.
