SUPER discounted software: Have u tried?

Not sure if I've posted something like this b4....sorry if I did.

Have you ever bought software from those super discounted software websites? I year or so back I considered it, but thought better of trying. Most them seem to sell about the same things at the same price. Titles are always older versions. For some things that might mean something, but for others, I don't think it would. For example, I've seen a number of websites selling Nuendo 3 for around $99. Now I'm sure there's some major differences between 3 and 4, but hell, for 99 bucks, who cares? (ok, I'd have to buy a dongle, but no major thing) It's download only and probably zero support and upgrades, but for what you get, I don't think that's a big issue. An example:

These places 'seem' to be legit, but are they? I've been asking myself, if they're legit, then why not buy? I'm sure Nuendo 3 would last me 10 years no problem.

So....anyone ever buy?

after i saw great full version of samplitude added to "estrada i studio online" on dvd recently,and it costs 15 zlotys (6 dollars) nothing can surprise me

I don't know seems a bit dodgy to me. Lot of spelling mistakes too.

Could be legit I guess so might be worth looking into a little more.

They do have all of those 'certified' images but that could always be faked.

For Steinberg stuff though I'd probably just look on eBay for Educational copies. Those generally can't be upgraded but they're at least legit.

Someone must have thought they were dodgy as well, because their site is offline. Spelling mistakes are a dead giveaway.
