Sub's to suppliment monitors

have you guys all triangulated your rooms, distance from monitors, etc.....?
Are you coloring the bass frequencies any to pump them up more, crossovers, eq's, etc.?

Well, yes, they are equidistant from my head, but I left all the factory settings where they were. The room has some bass summing behind me but like Jesse, I keep them close to avoid issues derived from that.

just a follow up, i have gone with Westlakes BBSM-5 with Nova amps and a westlake sub. I got a VERY good deal on the set up.

ha-ha, no, some guy just likes his EMS monitors better and didn't want to just have the gear setting around. shipments should start arriving monday.....wahoo!
he had a full 5.1 system. so i'm keeping 2 amps, 2 BBSM's and the sub, a friend is buying an amp and the other 2 BBSM's from me.
add'ly the Grace m904 should arrive late this coming week. so now it's on to completing the construction of the room.

i just swapped up to a pair of genelecs (the five inch ones) and a genelec 8 inch sub. fixed the problems i was having in a small room. the sound is absolutely amazing.

i still have to calibrate the sub. no easy task.
