Is anyone consistently runing these or similar pulg-ins on mutltiple tracks or the master? or is it just not needed with techno?

I am with Inflator, only use VW in certain situations, mostly snare drum.

Not on the master for either though although I know guys who do.

I never use vintage warmer anymore. I over used it on a kick drum once, and have never been able to get that awful sound out of my head. haha. tainted.

Ya vintage warmer can easily go to shit, you have to ride it carefully. For me it's always adding a weird top end crunchiness I don't like. But for snares though you can take a point snare and make it fairly fat with it.

Inflator is a lot more controlled for that type of application although its more saturation where as VM is doing compression as well.
