sadly we each could probably name 10 producers, bigger ones, that'd use it.....hahahahahaaha

Of course, gotta push the product!Big Grin

a bit OT, but since we're discussing beatport; i noticed Sascha Funke - Mango album is one of the top 5 sellers for the year on BP. I would HIGHLY recommend it to you guys. really, really well done. I'd also HIGHLY recommend Burial - Untrue, even though it's just over a year old. really, really, talented dub-step producer. really nice chill album to put on after the clubs or on your way home.

Ya +1 on the Burial. I listen to it constantly. It's the one recent album I've heard that is actually worth it, have't got sick of it yet.

Not really, mostly just that one album. I always forget to listen to the other one. All I know is it makes a great change of pace after mixing/mastering dance stuff to put that on at the end of the day to relax the ears a little Smile

Will check that remix out tho..

Ya that and techno, although now the 'rising' sound is taking over the cliche spot quickly.

rising like smith and selway total departure?

Ya that and Dios. I actually like those sounds though so not bothered by hearing them. Although like any trend now I'm sure they'll get really over done soon enough. But they do create a nice rolling feel along with the skippy drums so it's works well.

Also hearing that pitched down and gated trick on vocals frequently like in the Popof remix of All That Jazz (speaking of sax's hehe).

Yeah I'm not too bothered as well.

Ive always wanted to know how to make a big synth rise. The longest I can get is by setting the attack to max on the arp.

How was total departure done?

My fav of the saxy songs is

Marc Romboy - Elif Dimitri - Andreas Remix - Systematic

Such a bomb and its not too overplayed here.
