Looks like some interesting things going on there, most notably the regroover with groove quantization functions.

Anyone here really using Reason 3.0 much?

Was wondering if anyone had any cool techniques to create that pulsating pad sound? I use a compressor with a sidechain input, but sometimes that clamps down on the source material too much. I do like the capability of changing the bounce or rotation of the pad with the attack & release controls, but sometimes it is hard to hit the sweet spot that doesn't cause the track to lose energy.

I'd like to take a poll on how the forum is loading for you guys and gals to make sure its running smoothly for everyone.

So please let me know if you've had any issues so far.

How about everyone post their myspace links so we can all get familiar with each others tunes, utilizing the player to give/receive feedback... Perhaps a little easier than uploading elsewhere, and the ability to hear larger files...

Jesse, what do you think of the state of music technology as it is today, particularly native types of effects, synthesizers, mixing tools vs. their dsp counterparts. What do you like from each and why?

Same question as before, but instead of compression, what bit depth (16, 24, 32) would you recommend for the source files for mixing or mastering projects?

Jesse, you have been producing for a long time and I guess, working with many labels. I'd like to have some information about how things proceed with labels; I mean the contacts, contracts, payments, promotions etc. Also, for example, when a label asks me if I like to remix their tracks etc; how do such things proceed? What are the main things we should know before working with labels?

Ive just recently started using Logic 7 on a mac, Ive been able to finish two tracks without the use of its Environment, however I understand that the environment is very useful and amongst other things it opens up more options for the user, but I cant seem to figure it out.

I was wondering if there might be a training video of sorts that touchs up on the logic environment, or one that even delves deep into advance uses of the environment. Any help would be greatly apprecated.

so, here is my first big problem with my small synth. I've been using Alesis Photon X25 for about 8 months, there was no problem. But 2 days ago, all of a sudden, I began not to hear the MIDI signals while playing.. There is no problem with the audio, I can use the loops. Also I can hear the midi while playing from the VSTi's interface; but not while playing the keyboard??
Also, there emerged another problem. I have been also using a mic for a long time with the keyboard, and there began a very disturbing harsh sound when I connect it to the keyboard!
And so,
-First I thought there was a problem with VSTis. I checked all of them, there is sound while checking on their interface; but not with the keyboard anymore! Also there is the midi signal, but no sound. The channel routing etc. stuff are all ok as I say I've been using for a long time.
-Then I thought it must be about the driver since I haven't upgraded it before. So I loaded the alesis asio driver back, 2 times, but there is no change!
The problem seems to be about the soundcard, but what; I can't understand. By the way, it is a 24bit on-keyboard card.

Any ideas about what the problem can be and the solution will be appreciated
