It works great. There is a new class of instrument and effect now called 'external'. You insert it and then for that instance you can select the MIDI Out to be used as well as the Audio In for setting up and instrument. For effects you setup the Audio In and Out. The latency is corrected but there's also an offset if you need to tweak it further. Finally if you 'freeze' the track it will record down to audio for you in realtime.
So far it's been really painless to setup, I prefer it much more to the way SX3/C4 accomplishes this. Nice thing to use my Scope effects/synths now too.
