all about studio i would like to have some day would be good big monitoring speakers, powerfull pc/mac and proper room destined just for good hearing, and usb keyboard/controller.
A lot of producers prooves that outboard gear is not needed anymore as plugins quality is better and better.
Anyway though i think i would like to have one vintage keyboard, just as a music fan,and for jamming from time to time

awwww come on. gotta let your gear lust run free sometimes
i've gone through a fair amount of gear, these days i'm really settled on my Virus TI for all things digital, Juno 106 for warmth and hands on fun, and most everything else is in the box.
i do get amazing bass tones out of a TX7 I picked up for $70. It only has one sound I use but that bass tone seems to cut through like nothing else.

I'm in the middle. Not using any plugin synths anymore due to my harddrive crash wiping out my system, I then decided to go minimal on the vsts.
So just using the mks80 and scope. Have also been using my daking eq a lot and some analog compression.
Picked up a nice cheap 4 track tape machine as well, ran the mks80 through it for my bassline on my latest remix of Shilo Chords and sounded really nice.
Complete with missing knob and dust
I'm finally getting a sound I'm happy with that's somewhat in the box since I used to have my Paris system and all the outboard gear there.
It's to the point now I can't even really get any pleasure listening to any of the currently produced stuff. Now that I've heard the difference of running my current productions through a bit of analogue it sticks out more than it used to.
For me digital is 'capable' but not special sounding...

Ya you can't beat those yammys sometimes for the bass sounds. If you just use the sine tone it can create that works nicely for a sub layer as well with just a hint of that digital grit they can do.
