Remember in 7 how if you click on a midi region and hit 'x' on the keyboard it would bring up a hidden window where you could adjust the swing quantize by individual percentage, and you could quantize velocity and note length, as well as a few other options..
How do I get this window in 8?

I can only see a snippet of the discussion as I don't have access to the Logic Pro forum but this is what I can see:
"ctrl + click in your region parameters area to get the drop down menu, extended parameters are there."
So it seems you do that in the parameters area not the region as I had said initially.

In Logic 8 if you are working within the arrange window, just dbl click on the midi region and the editor will pop up below within the arrange page itself. Here you can adjust individual swing quantize, for adjusting velocity
and note length i usually use the hyper editor. You can select all same notes and bring up/down velocity without affecting the others, try press control or command on the velocity and drag it up/down, all the highlighted note will follow suit.(i changed my hot keys to that so cant remember the default) Im quite sure there are other ways to get this done as well but Hope this helps
