Upload Testers Needed
#1
Due to some recently issues with Sendspace in the UK I've decided to go ahead and try handling the uploading on my own.

If I could I''d appreciate it if a few people could try testing it for me to make sure the server is handing this ok.

Here's the page:

http://www.medwaystudios.com/uploadtest/

If you could try posting a few large size files typical of what would be uploaded, wavs or compressed files and 100 megs or so each. It can handle multiple files in queue. The max upload size is set to 350 meg at the moment.

Additionally if you can report here what you tried to upload and whether there were problems that would be great. The files go into a private folder so no worries there.

Thanks.

Ok i will upload compressed with rar free softsynth ~62mb,is it ok?

edit:

Done.

It went easy, smooth, fast, without any problems, and progress bar showed precisely how much left .

Browser used-firefox

I uploaded rar with proteus free softsynth ,but any wayy i think it is useless (this synth i uploaded) as i just packed a folder that i found on one disc and i dont know if all files there are ok,but i guess it was all about test Smile

Cool thanks got it. I'd love to have someone on Mac test as well.

Glad to hear it went smooth especially on the progress bar. I can also add time left and upload speed to the display once I know the uploading itself is solid.

No didn't even get an error on that one which is weird. What did it show on your end?

I think for now I'm just going to try the soundcloud drop box and have .rar and .zip files sent to my email.

I spoke to another mastering guy in the UK also having issues with Sendspace and it seems like they might be banned from UK for the fact some people use it for illegal file sharing.
