Ok, so is it possible when you use markers for the names you give each one to be visible in the bar where it's marking the measures?
i know you can hit crtl+m and view them all...
AND is there a "hot key" to toggle the inspector on/off (visible/not visible)?

Don't use markers much so can't say for sure, don't think I ever got them to appear though which is too bad.
Alt-I show/hides the inspector.

I was disappointed too to find this. Not sure why they don't let you label them in the timeline area.

Ah sorry actually I have seen this before... What I wanted though was a full bar display of the marker not just the thin line.

yeah, i actully think you and i were thinking the same thing, but this will have to do.
you should at least be able to change the background color so it stands out from the rest of the sheet.

That would be nice.
I seem to do fine without markers though. I could see really needing them in complex sound design stuff for picture but haven't felt a strong need for them in my usual productions. It's one of those things I almost feel like I would spend more time setting up than actually using.

honestly, since trying it out, it's 6 of these for half a dozen of those. It's nice to have less key strokes to get back to measure 33, or a break-down but that's about it.
i think it will come in very handy with the band when we just hit record for the entire practice and they want me to go back and break it up.
