found it today when i was watching usage of their transient, which i wanted to apply maybe.
I noticed oxford stuff is popular here,so this vid might fits here.
And i love those vids from Ian Carey,he really talks a lot and explains .Worth to watch
As you noticed there are mods vids with him using oxford

ok,now i can say with all responsibiliity.
oxford transmod is amazing..
i applied it on master bus with really slight settings (+0.18 ratio, rest was not touched ,"default")
and whole mix sounds like everything was sidechained with each otehr, but no "pumping" is noticeable with such slight settings .It just makes space for everything.Thats a real gem, especially in electronic dance music
And i must add,i applied it AFTER oxford dynamics and limiter.
edit"nowi increased ratio, punchy as hell ,snare sound is slapping so "juicy" that it is almost as a slap in your face when you fight with someone: you just feel it

Be careful with transient stuff over the master. It can make things less warm and hard sounding. I used to use them but backed off, if I do it's really subtle as you did in your settings.

i always use on master really gentle settings ,and it is enough in case of transmod to notice diffrence.Gotta play more with it to make it really usefull in my hands

Yes you're setting is about the same as what I would use. But recently I found myself just turning them off. I'd like to check out the SPL ones too.

yeah,i liked it,tweaked "on ear" as always on my crappy cheap pair of headphones.
Transmod sounds superb when complicated drumbeat is applied, bit "deadmau5 style" ,punchy kick and a lot of drums goin in background,i like it,fiorst impressions are damn positive

help me to save my hard earned dough...
I have the waves platinum bundle -- any particular reason why these would be that much better? Or is it more a matter of real subtlies and expertise of use?

I really like the idea he showed of creating a bus- then putting two of the compressors on it with warmth turned up to 100%. Then using this bus as a "warmth bus" for certain elements of your track.
I don't have the sonnox pack. Any recommendations on other plugs I could use to accomplish a similar feel?
thanks
