I recently received an email from a record label letting me know they are interested in signing a few of my songs. I guess they got referred to my soundcloud page by someone and really liked what they heard.

They said they would like to put one of them on a compalation, and the other one they would like to use for an ep. My original plus a remix.

I was pretty stoked when finding out the news and agreed. I now have the contracts and after reading them, I seem to be a bit more hesitant.

I was just hoping someone here could shed some insight on the whole process as I have never been through this type of thing before.

The video I mentioned the other day is posted in the user area now, most of you should have got an email on this but posting here in case you haven't.

Happy new year to everyone.

There will be a new ableton video released tomorrow covering a deep house/techy type track.

pretty awesome

IDJ Review : Art Vs Science Parlez-Vous Francais (San City High) Can City High delivers the release it has been threatening to of late. Australian three-piece Art Vs Science encapsulate the live indie dance vibe of which Kissy so vociferously supports. The Lee Mortimer and Decibel remixes strip away the live energy for a more straightforward production sound, whilst Disco of Doom steal the show with their continually building rework!

National Radio Airplay and full support from:

Loose Cannons – Kiss FM
Rob Da Bank – BBC Radio 1
Kissy Sell Out – BBC Radio 1
Nemone - BBC 6music
John Kennedy – XFM

Have some time this week to record a new tech house vid for the tutorial section so be on the look out.

Moving the currently email list to a new client to make it easier to send updates in the future.

A few days ago I updated the software the site runs on to keep it safe security wise but this seems to have affected some of the custom work I did for the profile section.

Things aren't displaying correctly at the moment but will fix them later this week.

Big fan of these when they came out a few years ago. Haven't used the compressor much after getting The Glue but the new updates to these promted me to try it again.

Just used it on a session and was very pleased, very smooth yet still punchy character and now it does tempo sync on the release, should be great for sidechaining.

Sonitex is still one of the best lofi crusher type plugins and does quite a bit more.

If you haven't checked these out yet then give them a look.
