Persian Music Appreciation DVD

Just got this in my inbox and thought I'd share. Seeing how we borrow (intentionally or not) a lot of rhythms from the Persians, maybe a better understanding of them could be helpful to some. This looks pretty interesting and possibly worth the $40 price tag.

Wow that looks cool. I deff recommend people learn how to program real drums in order to make even really electronicy stuff sound right. If you get it let me know how it is. Any time I do mixing for persian type stuff I'm always impressed with the complexity of the rhythms going on.
